Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is a Danish professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for the Danish Superliga side Brøndby IF and the Denmark national team. He was born on May 5, 1994, in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Hojbjerg started his career at local club Lyngby Boldklub before moving to Aalborg BK in 2012. In his first season with Aalborg, he made over 70 appearances and scored four goals, earning him a call-up to the Denmark national team.
In 2014, Hojbjerg joined Borussia Dortmund in Germany, where he played under current Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola.
